About
Originally from Teesside in North East England, I moved to Loughborough in September 2003 to attend Loughborough University and I have lived here ever since.
I graduated from Loughborough University in July 2006 with a degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering and since August 2006 I have worked in the tax department of an accountancy firm in Nottingham.
In May 2007 I was elected as one of the two councillors representing the ward of Loughborough Dishley and Hathern on Charnwood Borough Council.
I am currently the Cabinet Support Member for Audit, Financial and Legal Services.
I believe in:
* Small government
* Low taxes
* Localism and local democracy
